We leave for Melbourne in a few days. Our Greek intensive at Ridley Melbourne begins on 2 Feb.
We’d especially like to thank all our friends at St Matt’s and SAS for your support and prayers as we leave. St Matt’s is our home church and we’re sad to be away from you all!
We’ll be sending regular supporters’ letters via e-mail now. If you’ve been receiving Tamie’s letters, you will automatically get these. If you’d like to get on our mailing list, please let us know! Likewise, contact us if you are not yet equipped with one of our fridge magnets.
As we begin studying in Melbourne, we’d like you to pray for two things especially:
- That throughout our learning, God would grow us in our love for Christ and his people. “Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up” (1 Corinthians 8:1a-3). We don’t want to get lost in theoretical conundrums and constant debates; we want to be equipped to serve others. Here is a very comprehensive list of what we don’t want to do!
- That God would give us close friendships as we get to know others and find a church.
Finally, we’d love to hear from you! E-mail us, phone us, Facebook us, do whatever it is you do — we’d love to hear how you’re going and what’s happening back home!
