Help Christians in Haiti

In Galatians 6:10, we’re urged to do good to all people, but especially to our family of believers.

If you’re concerned about the earthquake disaster in Haiti, you ought to know a bit about the church in Haiti — who are these brothers and sisters, and what are their needs?  In this short article, a Haitian church leader explains further and gives some long-term perspective.

There are many wonderful aid efforts already underway, but if you want to get aid to Christians in Haiti, two great organisations are Churches Helping Churches and the Barnabas Fund.

  1. I would recommend Mission of Hope – a long standing Christian mission that has quickly allocated funds to help folks. They have already served 2 million meals since the earthquake and their medical center has been going non-stop for two weeks now. The UN set up some of their medical operations on MOH’s property because it is such a good and accessible location.
