I’ve been enjoying the ABC’s blog covering the Global Atheist Convention (subscribe here). There is a good team of guest bloggers, including Christians I respect, Ben Myers and Chris Mulherin. So far, the blog has spent much of its time questioning whether the Convention will be reflective and constructive, or strident and reactionary. On that note, I’m feeling genuinely pleased with the sound of Phillip Adams’ speech. I also dipped into the discussion here.
Margaret Coffey observes that many of the attenders are ex-churched people — a real reminder that the way Christians conduct themselves will have deep ramifications.

Hey Arthur,
Reckon you could put up a post outlining your view of ‘Christian materialism’ sometime?
Yeah, it’s on my list… :D
They’re wrapping up the ABC Atheist Convention blog. A great closing post from Margaret Coffey, here.
