So, we’re fundraising, and a stack of people have got us three quarters of the way to our target. Here are some words from some of them about why they reckon it’s worth doing.
It was an easy decision to partner with Arthur and Tamie. Having been blessed by their ministry in Australia, sharing their love for university ministry and seeing their heart for the nations, I consider it a real privilege to join them as they help equip Tanzanian students to proclaim Jesus on campus. — Lauren
Arthur and Tamie have blessed me in my discipleship journey and so its a joy to invest in them to see and enable my Tanzanian brothers and sisters similarly blessed by God in their discipleship as we pray together for a world that knows Jesus! — Oli
I love partnering with Arthur and Tamie because it feels like a personal partnership. It’s so exciting seeing a new Facebook post and receiving the monthly email updates sharing with me what they are doing in Tanzania and how I can be praying for them. I feel my financial partnership is especially valued on my “sponsored day” when I receive an email just for me, asking how I’m going and how they can be praying for me! — Lorinda
I like supporting Arthur and Tamie because their work has great potential to be useful and effective. Our Australian churches have benefited from a strong theological knowledge base through so much of their existence and it is a great opportunity to be able to contribute this kind of knowledge and assistance to the future leaders of the Tanzanian church. — Mink
I love that partnership in the gospel with the Davises is not one-sided. While we are able to support the work in finance and prayer we are constantly encouraged by the thoughtful and honest insights Tamie and Arthur share of the things that God is teaching them in Tanzania. — Joanne
We believe Arthur and Tamie’s work in universities is a key way to ensure the gospel is being taught faithfully and accurately throughout the country by Tanzanians, to Tanzanians. — Samara
[I love partnering with Arthur and Tamie] because I love Jesus, the Davises and the people of Tanzania. I love being involved, partnering, with missionaries who are raising up Godly leaders for generations to come. How amazing that I can play a small part in that! — David
And a final word from two people who’ve been mentors to us:
We’ve had the joy of knowing Arthur and Tamie for quite some time, and are privileged to partner with them in their ministry in Tanzania. We have recognised the significant gifts God has nurtured and grown in them, both individually and as a couple, which has prepared them well for a very strategic ministry in encouraging and equipping the next generation of leaders. We believe God has placed Arthur and Tamie in a vital and timely role in Tanzania, and urge you to consider joining us in supporting them both financially and in prayer. — Tim and Fiona
